Privacy policy

The Creative Place ("we") runs this website and our classes at 444 Estudillo Ave, Suite E, San Leandro, CA 94577. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

  • When you book: your name, email, phone number, the names and ages of participants, an emergency contact for minors, and any notes you give us (for example, allergies).
  • When you pay: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • When you join our email list: your email address, language preference, and when and how you signed up.
  • When you visit: basic server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) to keep the site secure. We do not use advertising trackers.

How we use it

To run your booking, send confirmations and reminders, contact you about changes to a class, answer your questions, and, if you joined our list, send news about classes. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the link in every email.

Text messages

If you agree to receive text messages from us, we use your mobile number only to send the messages you agreed to. We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or text-message opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Reply STOP to stop messages and HELP for help. Who we share it with

Only the services that help us run the studio: Stripe (payments), our email provider (sending email), our text-message provider (sending texts) and our hosting provider. They may use your information only to provide those services to us. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as we need them for taxes and accounting, generally up to 7 years. You can ask us to delete your information sooner unless the law requires us to keep it.
